This Electrolux uses automatic height adjustment, so it easily transgresses from various carpet piles and even to hard floors. The large, soft wheels protect wood, laminate, and tile floors.
The 21 ft. cord automatically rewinds which further adds to the ease of use. This bagged vacuum uses HEPA filtration with a 1 quart bag capacity. Very lightweight at only 16 pounds.

Pros: Overall, consumers are very pleased with the Electrolux Intensity EL5020A and state that this upright delivers in most areas. The simple, easy to reach switches make operation a breeze. One owner discovered that the vacuum will shut off automatically if it’s left on while the bag full indicator light is on. This is safety feature which keeps the motor from overheating while letting you know it’s time to change the bag. Most people agree that this model is capable of being your full time cleaner and not just a backup with a couple of exceptions.
Cons: The biggest complaint is the small, 1qt. bag capacity. This vacuum is powerful and sucks up a lot of dirt, which is great, but it also means frequent bag changes and purchases. Realistically, one must expect this from such a compact design. It’s hard to get a powerful motor, on board tools, and a large dirt container into a small, lightweight vacuum cleaner.
There is a carry handle on top of the motor which makes for good portability, but restricts cleaning under low furniture like beds and cabinets, and obviously there are no cleaning attachments.
