So, is there really a difference between the newest Dyson vacuum and the previous model? Is there a reason why a consumer should not just buy the last model to save money, like buying last years model car instead of next years? Well if you know anything about Dyson, you may just go ahead and spend the extra bucks to get the latest model.
Dyson is known for continuously working to advance their technology, and to make improvements over the last model, while challenging other top brands to keep pace. You can trust Dyson not to release a new vacuum cleaner simply for marketing purposes. Dyson is an industry leader and is a prime example of how consumers benefit greatly from a free market and competition in the marketplace. With the DC25, Dyson has combined all it's fine engineering with consumer needs to create the ultimate, high performance vacuum cleaner. Any new owner would be hard-pressed to find anything to complain about with this model.
The Ball. As with the Dyson DC24, this vacuum cleaner uses one of its most advanced features, the Ball. The DC25 uses a large ball instead of wheels and most Dyson lovers are very impressed. The ball makes the chore of vacuuming and navigating a room almost effortless. The motor is actually contained inside the ball creating a low center of gravity, thus reducing the amount of effort needed to push, pull, and especially turn the vacuum. If you've never used on these vacuum cleaners, the Ball may take some getting used to, but you will be driving this machine like an Indy race car champion in no time. Â Attachments. Are you tired of buying a new vacuum cleaner only to find that all those bulky attachments only serve to get in the way, make the vacuum heavier and harder to use. Half the time they don't even do jobs you had in mind when you chose that do everything vacuum. This is not the case with the DC25. The attachments are very well designed and easy to use. Simply pull the Quick-draw Telescope Reachâ„¢ wand like a gun from a holster and clean those drapes and stairs with ease. A 24 foot cord and 40 maximum reach only add to the functionality.
Suction. If you haven't heard yet, Dyson vacuum cleaners are designed to NOT loose suction as the dirt bin fills. This means that you get the same awsome suction (220 air watts) even when the 1/3 gallon dirt bin is nearly full. If you wher to take the time to read a large number of constomer reviews, you'd find that the DC25 has edge cleaning abbility owners of other brands only dream of. Why spend the time vacuuming the entire room only to have to go back and clean the edges with a crevice tool; not necessary with this model. All Floors. The "All Floors" part of the DC25 name means that this model can go from pile carpets to hard floors to delecate rugs quickly and easily. There's a button located within reach of your fingertips, so you can turn the power brushes on or off without bending over, or even stopping. Other handy features. - The dust bin is truly hads free. Simply remove it and push a button to empty.Â
- The DC25 is smaller than you might think and at 16 lbs. you won't need a second vacuum cleaner for upper levels.Â
- This Dyson comes with a washable, lifetime HEPA filter which super cleans the exhaust air (reduces mold and bacteria by 150 times less than the air in your home), which makes this model Certified Asthma friendly, and greatly reduces the need to buy costly replacement filters.
- A 5 year warranty far exceeds the warranty of most other vacuum cleaners and should be a great confidence booster for the consumer.
As with other Dysons, owners continue to make the statement that the Dyson pulls things from the carpet they had no idea was there. Even after pre-vacuuming with other brands, the Dyson fills it's dirt bin with unspeakable filth. Overall, this vacuum cleaner is hard to beat. It may cost more than some other brands, but you can rest assured you'll be getting what you pay for.
