So, is there really a difference between the newest Dyson vacuum and the previous model? Is there a reason why a consumer should not just buy the last model to save money, like buying last years model car instead of next years? Well if you know anything about Dyson, you may just go ahead and spend the extra bucks to get the latest model.
Dyson is known for continuously working to advance their technology, and to make improvements over the last model, while challenging other top brands to keep pace. You can trust Dyson not to release a new vacuum cleaner simply for marketing purposes. Dyson is an industry leader and is a prime example of how consumers benefit greatly from a free market and competition in the marketplace. With the DC25, Dyson has combined all it's fine engineering with consumer needs to create the ultimate, high performance vacuum cleaner. Any new owner would be hard-pressed to find anything to complain about with this model. The Ball.

It’s hard to mistake the Electrolux intensity with it’s sleek, compact, gray and maroon, highly portable design. This is one vacuum cleaner with some personality, and functionality to go along with it.
This bagged vacuum is for small size, power, and easy storage. The ergonomic, soft touch handle will adjust up or down to accommodate tall people, those of us who are “vertically challenged”, and everyone in between. When your done, just fold the hand down for easy portability and storage. The 12 amp motor and a wide air port deliver impressive suction, and a 12 inch vacuum head with edgeElelectrolux EL5020A cleaning makes the job thorough and fast. This Electrolux uses automatic height adjustment, so it easily transgresses from various carpet piles and even to hard floors. The large, soft wheels protect wood, laminate, and tile floors. The 21 ft. cord automatically rewinds which further adds to the ease of use. This bagged vacuum uses HEPA filtration with a 1 quart bag capacity. Very lightweight at only 16 pounds. Price Comparison. Prices at major online retailers range from $279.99 to $299.99 (the suggested retail price). Vacuum reviews and comparison.

The Bissell Healthy Home vacuum cleaner is Bissell’s answer to Dyson. Using similar cyclone technology, powerful suction, a powered brush attachment, a wide cleaning head, and an extra long cleaning wand and hose, they have mass marketed a cheaper Dyson alternative. The question is: how does the Healthy Home really compare.
Multi-Cyclone technology. Bissell designed this vacuum cleaner with their own version of cyclone technology which separates dirt, dust, and debris from the air. Being that this is a new model, there is not much data available and it’s hard to say if Bissell’s version works as well as, or better than Dyson’s. What I can say is that the new owners are impressed so far. Antimicrobial protection. The 5770 Health Home uses Microban® Antimicrobial Protection. Mold, bacteria, and mildew are the major causes of odors in the home. Now this doesn’t mean this vacuum cleaner removes odors from your home. It just keeps the vacuum itself from stinking up the place. If you have small children, you’ve probably vacuumed up some small pieces of food or hit some wet spots. This can cause the vacuum cleaner to create some very offensive odors.
